Honeymoon
Today is the seventeenth day since I received a marriage proposal. In my heart, the main joy has already subsided, but I still feel a thrill. It was the most romantic day of my life – so far. What will it be like for me on my wedding day? I’ll probably go crazy with happiness. N. writes me messages from work every day – sometimes romantic rhymes, sometimes bland nonsense. We have never slept in the same bed, and now there are only a couple of months left until that moment. Since he put the ring in my bag, I have changed a lot. How little a woman needs! To feel like a queen – just see how your loved one puts your engagement ring on your finger.
Today we are going to an amusement park. They say they built space flight simulators. This means that we will "fly" today like birds. N. says that I am the most beautiful with him, and I believe him. Well, in a sense, not that I am the most beautiful, but that he thinks so. Yesterday he gave me a silk scarf! It was so cute, it had a scattering of autumn flowers on it. Perhaps I myself am like an autumn flower now – after all, everyone usually gets married in the summer, and I received an offer in the fall – and I will marry in the winter. The rides were incredibly fun! We flew around Mars, looked at Jupiter – after all, a great thing is technology and progress. We held hands all evening. Still, N. loves me very much.

It's just awful, I can't find a place for myself. Yesterday N. and I had a fight. He shouted that for a girl who is getting married, I was too cocky. And I just asked why his mother never calls me, because we will soon become a family. I will never ask again! Do not want to communicate with me – no need! Let them look down on me. Of course, my parents are not aristocrats. He made a fortune by building his own factory. But, by the way, their cause is of public benefit. Their factory makes missile warheads, they are used to blast soil on distant planets. This is how we on Earth are now looking for fossils. Okay, I'll go take a pill and drink it with a glass of wine. Let it pump me out, if that.
